E' confermato che uscirà il prossimo 2 novembre il secondo album natalizio di Mariah Carey che si intitolerà “Merry Christmas II You”.
Dopo il grandissimo successo del primo album (che risale ormai al 1994) anche questo disco conterrà diverse cover di canzoni natalizie come “Little Drummer Boy” e “First Noel” e una nuova versione della sua “All I Want For Christamas Is You”.
In più, stando alle indiscrezioni trapelate, dovrebbero essere anche quattro inediti tra cui il primo singolo “Oh Santa”, prodotto da B-Cox.

No non è vera, è un montaggio che ha fatto un utente del forum.
Vabbè visto che su questo forum le notizie scarseggiano diamo a tutti i lambs di avere notizie dull'album e sul singolo:
Innanzitutto l'album sarà disponibile in tre versioni differenti (perlomeno in Usa) in Italia (fonte Universal Italia dal forum ) saranno disponibili la Standard edition e la Deluxe edition (CD e DVD).
La tracklist principale dovrebbe contenere 11 tracks così disposte:

O Little Town of Bethlehem

and more..
In totale si avranno 11 canzoni, 12 in Giappone dove sarà aggiunta (come sempre) una Bonus Track. Intanto "O little Town of Bethlehem" e "Little Drummer Boy" saranno in un medley per cui vanno conteggiate come canzone singola.

E visto che non è stata svelata l'intera tracklist, posso ancora sognare un pò...
Mi aspetterei anche qualche classico come per es. White Christmas, The Christmas Song, Blue Christmas,( perfetta per lei), Let it Snow e se vogliamo esagerare anche Happy Christmas ( war is over) di Lennon!
Anche una bella versione della sacra Ave Maria di Shubert non sarebbe male (vera e propria utopia!)
E poi visto che ci ha messo la penna, sarei curiosa di sentire la sua versione di Where Are You Christmas? dalla colonna sonora del Grinch.

Quanto alla copertina mi sarei aspettata qualcosa di meno artefatto, senza criticare il maestro LaChapelle, un qualcosa di questo tipo per es....

ragazzi sembra che l'album sarà fatto bene, anche se non apprezzo l'idea del natale per la seconda volta sembra che vogliano fare le cose per bene, non mi piace che nella pubblicità si parli ancora di the emancipation of mimi, ora basta con la rendita ^^ . -

Ciao Marco! Una bella tracking list, sono perplesso per Oh Holy Night live, in giro dicono possa essere quella del 2000, ma spero proprio di no! Penso possa averla cantata live ancora discretamente bene...l'intro mi piace come collegamento al primo disco natalizio e traina un pò Oh Santa in clima festivo adatto ai bimbi; mi chiedo cosa sia housetop celebration! Sono piacevolmente sorpreso da Auld Lang Syne...e dal duetto con Patricia, ma un pò come tutti avrei tanto voluto vedere "The Christmas song" e "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" in lista! Adesso non ci tocca che ascoltare e magari un album senza i soliti classici natalizi può andare bene! Incrociamo le dita! . -

il disco è in rete..primo ascolto..posto che come già detto non apprezzo i bis..e il paragone col primo album non regge..ha fatto un ottimo lavoro..il duetto con patricia trovo sia una delle migliori prove della sua carriera 
aud lang slyne uno spasso..divertentissima perchè dance stile tempi d'oro degli aqua ...here come santa clows un bellissimo beat stile motown..il resto un pò monocorde ma funziona, sobria, elegante..coraggiosa..tranne che nei due scivoloni del disco che secondo me sono proprio oh ohly night (tratta pari pari dalla versione 2000) e aiwfciy decisamente inutili..se di nuovo album si tratta..perchè riproporle? cmq brava mariah..voto otto
